What can Brian help me with?
We believe that meeting your financial goals begins with an in depth analysis of your current financial situation and the development of a financial plan. Your written financial plan contains personal, comprehensive strategies designed to help you prepare for a multitude of important financial situations throughout life.
Once your goals have been established, we customize strategies to help meet your specific financial goals and objectives. Each plan may address any or all of these primary planning aspects:
- Financial Position: Provides in-depth analysis of your cash flow, budget and net worth.
- Investment Planning: Portfolio consulting for specific goals as well as overall investment and asset allocation/diversification strategies. This includes reviewing employer-sponsored assets such as 401(k) plans, 403(b) plans, and stock option programs.
- Tax Planning: Implementing strategies to help ensure you are not over paying your income tax.
- Education Funding: Analyzes education planning goals including K-12 and post-secondary schooling as well as determining the investment vehicle to utilize while saving.
- Risk Management: Determines insurance need for disability, long term care, and life including analysis of employee benefits.
- Retirement Planning: Guidance in understanding retirement issues, including the development of suitable goals and creation of strategies to achieve those goals.
- Accumulation Planning: Establishes funding strategies for specific milestones or goals such as a home purchase, car purchase, emergency fund, or vacation fund.
- General Estate Planning Strategies: Provides advice about estate tax planning, charitable giving, and wealth transfer as a precursor to consulting your attorney.
After the creation of a financial plan, meetings with Brian are set annually, semi-annually or quarterly, depending on what you choose. During these meetings, the strategies from the financial plan are implemented and monitored to help you stay on track towards meeting your goals.
